Blake Delaney was born in Stuart, FL and lived in Okeechobee with his family until the age of six. All his life, he dreamt of being able to move back and be able to experience the FL lifestyle in the fishing capital of the world! Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, and other gamefish species called his name. As he grew up, we went through several boats (nothing fancy) because what he wanted was far too expensive. He wanted to be able to conquer the waters in TN and then drive back "home" and do an inshore slam, catching overslot fish all day long. Sadly, there was not a boat on the market that met his budget. Blake knew that other people must be having the same problem so he established BD Boatworks. The highest quality inshore fishing vessels with the lowest prices on the market. He works tirelessly to produce the four models offered in his garage, while our company grows. Expanding the building space is essential to produce multiple boats at the same time. He insists on laying each sheet of fiberglass by hand, and checking everything ten times! He is a perfectionist and desires nothing but the best for our customers!
